Ms Panagiota RAPAKOULIA - TSOURKAS
Diploma in Physics and Mathematics; M.Sc. in Macromolecular
Sciences; Ph.D. in Physics from Pierre et Marie Curie University,
Paris, France.
Ms Rapakoulia left an 11-year career in academia, including
posts as a Research Scientist at Ecole Superieure de Physique
et Chimie de la Vile de Paris and a Professor at the University
of Thessaloniki, to become an advisor for the Permanent Greek
Representation to the European Community and the Greek Ministry
of Industry and Technology and, afterwards, a consultant to
the Commission of the European Communities, DG XIII. She held
the position of General Manager of the Hellenic ESPRIT Club,
where she was responsible for the management of various new
technologies and dissemination projects.
Since 1993 Ms Rapakoulia has been Managing Director of ArchiMedia
S.A. Her specific domains of interest and expertise include
Microelectronics, Technological Evolution in Central and East
European Countries, as well as Innovative Technology Transfer.
She speaks Greek, French and English.
Ms Mimoza SPATA - ZOGRAFI
Ms Zografi left an 11-year academic career as a University
Professor in Probabilities and Statistics in the University
of Korcha, Albania, to live and work in Greece. Her domains
of expertise include Econometrics, Statistics, Probabilistic
Methodologies and Analysis as well as Database Design and
Management.
She speaks Greek, English and Albanian.
Ms Ioanna VARVITSIOTI
Diploma from National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Project Manager of several of Archimedia’s projects funded
by EC. Also involved in the management of National Projects
funded by the Greek General Secretariat of Research and Technology.
Responsible for the organisation of several dissemination
events and workshops.
Quality Assurance Manager, involved in the development of
the Quality Management System of ARCHIMEDIA according to ISO
9001:2000 standards. Trained as auditor, receiving certification
by the International Auditor and Training Certification Association
(IATCA).
She speaks Greek and English.
Mr Elias SIDERIS
Diploma in Physics from the University of Patras, Greece.
Mr Sideris has a more than 10 years working experience as
a Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager. He is currently
Head of Research and Development at ArchiMedia. His domains
of expertise include Web services and XML Technologies, Document
Management, Work Management, Information Filtering and Retrieval
and Decision Support Systems. His favourite programming languages
are Java and C++.
He speaks Greek and English.
